Cleaning the Slicesy
The Slicesy is great for grating and slicing, especially when handling large amounts of vegetables. It is also superfast at making pastry and shortbread. My biggest issue - why I cannot rate it higher that a 3 is that the lid gets stained very easily but cannot be washed, or submerged in water. It makes cleaning items like beetroot stains or flour very difficult. I have tried to protect mine with cling film when using but sometimes the cling film ends up in the food, which is not ideal! It would be great if Bamix offered the most effective cleaning tips for the processor. Maybe they have information somewhere but I have never come across it.
