Horizontal juicers rarely see truly innovative upgrades, but with the Supreme 727, Sana have succeeded in breaking the mold in an impactful way. As the first variable speed masticating juicer to be sold in the UK, the 727 offers a very unique and versatile package that can be optimised for many different ingredients.
Beyond that, it also comes with a lavish selection of accessories, which when accompanied by its modern design and unique feature upgrades makes for an unstoppable combination. If you want to experience the current peak of horizontal juicers, the Supreme 727 currently fills that role perfectly.
Above all of its other perks, the Sana Supreme 727 is most recognisable for its variable speed settings. These allow you to select between 4 different speed levels to get the most out of the ingredients being juiced and the selected mode can be changed at any time through a convenient control dial.
At its lowest level, the 727 works at 40 rotations per minute (RPM) and then works its way up in speed to 65, 90 and finally 120 RPM. The slower speeds are ideal for fibrous ingredients like spinach or celery and the faster speeds work best with soft ingredients such as berries and oranges.
In terms of accessories, no other juicer on the market can come close to the Supreme 727 in terms of quality and variety. As standard it comes with a pusher, cleaning brush, coarse screen, blank screen and a set of homogenising nozzles.
However, perhaps the most unique among the accessory pool are the glass juice collection cup and the stainless steel pulp collection bowl. The glass cup in particular meets a new level of quality as it is handmade from Bohemian Crystal glass with additional etched decorations for a truly premium finish.
While the Supreme 727 is most noteworthy for its variable speed ability, it also utilises some other useful features to great effect. Its unique feed chute is one such example of this, as it has 2 inlet holes that are optimised for different ingredient types. Therefore, feeding ingredients is much less hassle overall.
The 727 also benefits from smaller feature perks such as the drip tray, which helps to keep your worksurface clean and free from mess. This is also supplemented with a juice spout cover, that helps to reduce the risk of drips once you’ve finished juicing.
The 727 is not only a great juicer from a technical standpoint, it also impresses with its ergonomic and attractive design. Built to be compact, it has a unique motor design that reduces its length dramatically, making it a juicer that is accessible for even the most limited kitchen spaces.
That streamlined mindset has also been applied to the assembly process, which has been polished and refined where possible. Through the addition of an autolocking feature and alignment indicators assembling the Supreme 727 couldn’t be much easier.
To cap off an amazing package it’s also worth noting that the Sana Supreme 727 uses a collection of BPA free parts built from high-quality plastics such as Tritan and GE Ultem. As a result, it can handle lots of use over time without the risk of wear and damage to any of the key juicing components.
