However the Super Q™ differentiates itself from the other blenders in the Sage range and indeed the blender market, by it’s compatibility with the marvellous Vac Q™ accessory from Sage, which aids in keeping your blends fresher, tastier and more visually appealing for longer.
The Vac Q™ Vacuum Pump
The feature that completely sets this blender apart from the majority of the domestic blenders on the market today is that it has been designed to work in sync with Sage’ very own vacuum pump, the Vac Q™. This powerful little device attaches to the top of the 2L blending container and will extract every ounce of air within the container and your ingredients before you blend. The advantage of this is that without oxygen being mixed into your food, your blends will taste and feel much more silky smooth. Another plus point is that whatever you create, can be stored for much longer, as there is no oxidation of the nutrients kept within the food. This extraction of oxygen does two things for your blend, the first being it can also provide a richer and fuller flavour in soups and smoothies alike, and secondly, the colour of the blend will appear more vibrant due to the natural colours remaining in the blend.

Refined Yet Powerful
Packing a very capable 2400-watt motor, which equates to approximately 3.2HP. The Sage Super Q™ boasts the most powerful motor Sage have ever used. With a 300km/h blade rotation speed, not only will it power through all the ingredients but it will do it in less time. All this power is controlled through the use of the 5 extremely useful pre set functions or the 12 speed fully adjustable dial which are both situated on the base of the juicer. This choice that is given to the customer allows you to either let the blender do all the work itself, half the work; where you fine tune the final consistency with some manual pulses or full DIY where you can control and tailor every aspect of the blend yourself. The combination of the motor and stainless-steel laser cut blade allows you to even mill fine flours should you need or wish to, which is a feature that is not commonly found on domestic blenders at this price point. Sage have even extended their ingenuity into combining the noise reduction and cooling system into the base of the blender, resulting in a much more quiet, compact and manageable blending experience as there are no sound shields or guards that also take up your precious countertop space.
Control is the key
Sage have, as they always do, designed products to make your life easier and cut down on the actual time it takes to prepare a meal so that you have more time to enjoy it. The Super Q™ again is no exception, with a fully controllable 12 speed jog dial and 5 one-touch blending pre-sets, you have the ability to set a program walk away in trust, but then return to a steaming hot hearty soup. The five pre-set functions cover: Green Smoothies, Hot and Cold Soups, Pulse/Ice Crushing, Frozen Dessert Blending and Regular Smoothie making, and as mentioned before the customer is given the choice to further tune the taste and texture of their blends by intervening with additional pulses as well as using the Vac Q™ to remove all the oxygen from the produce for that super silky smooth consistency that has to be tasted to be believed.

In the box, aside from the blender itself, you get the previously mentioned Personal Blending Container (700ml) that allows you to make smaller more convenient amounts of a recipe or that perfect morning smoothie to grab and go. There is a tamper for the 2L container and an edged spatula to help you get every tasty ounce of your creation out of the container once you have finished blending.
