​Juicing Recipes For a Great Start to the Day

Most of us probably do it already- reaching out to the fridge to get a refreshing glass of fruit juice in the morning. But, what most of us do is to juice a single fruit at a time, and drink it just for the sake of having it. Why do this, if you have an even better option of using these delicious recipes which contain several fruits and veggies at once! These have several benefits as they include the goodness of different kinds of fruits and veggies– All-in-one!

Tropical Green Juice

Close your eyes while sipping on it and resist saying ‘Oh-so-Refreshing’!

Ingredients (Serves 2) -

½ cup of fresh pineapple juice (1/3 medium pineapple)

½ cup of mango juice (a large mango)

½ cup of fresh spinach juice (8 ounces of fresh spinach)

2 tbsp. fresh lime juice

Procedure -

Juice all the ingredients together so that they are thoroughly mixed and then serve immediately to taste the freshness.

The Magical Power Potion

This bright colored juice will give your day a kick start that it needs!

Ingredients-

2/3 cup of fresh beet juice (2 medium beets along with stems)

1/2 cup of fresh carrot juice (2 medium carrots)

1/3 cup of fresh clementine juice (2 peeled clementines)

2 tsp. fresh ginger juice

1/2 cup fresh apple juice (1 large apple)

Procedure-

Stir the juices together, pour in a glass and garnish with a slice of apple to give the feeling of a mocktail.  Enjoy the different flavours in just one glass.

Mango-Pineapple-Coconut Juice

A concoction that is spicy, sweet, and sour.

Ingredients-

1 tsp. fresh ginger juice (1-inch section of fresh ginger)

½ cup fresh mango juice (comes from 2 cups of cubed mango)

1 ½ cups of fresh pineapple juice (2 cups cubed pineapple)

1 tsp. fresh lime juice (1 lime)

2 tsp. full-fat coconut milk

Procedure-

Juice the ginger, mango, lime, and pineapple in one concoction. Mix the juice with coconut milk in a glass and enjoy the alcohol-free almost pina colada.

Cucumber Mint Lemon

A morning drink that will detoxify your body and give you that kick start!

Ingredients-

1 large cucumber (unpeeled)

A handful of mint leaves (Fresh)

1/2 tsp lime juice (1 lime)

Procedure-

Juice the cucumber and the mint together. Squeeze in the lime juice from half a lime. Serve as it is, or garnish it with fresh mint leaves. You may even add a pinch of sea salt and stir in before garnishing.

Experiment with your  juicer machine and try to make new recipes of your own. These are simple to make and packed with goodness.  Starting your day with a glass of fresh fruit and vegetable juice is always a win-win situation!
