The glass bottle faciltates ease of use with some cleverly designed features. The bottle lid has a small opening on the side edge that the Waterwise 4000 filter cup slots into perfectly. A small dust-cover protects this opening when the distiller is not in use. The small dust-cover stores neatly at the back of the handle during distillation. The distilled water is poured out through a larger opening that is also protected by a dust-cover. A discreet arm on the handle holds the lid in place while pouring. Each glass bottle comes with a silicon bottom edge protector. By resting the bottle on its edge and tipping the bottle forward carefully, pouring is easier and precise.
