What Is Lime Scale?

Calcium is a naturally occurring crystalline mineral. It is the jagged-edged crystalline structure of calcium that makes it able to adhere to virtually any surface such as water pipes. As calcium deposits grow they appear as what is commonly referred to as lime-scale and when lime-scale deposits build up in your water pipes, it reduces the efficiency of flow, as well as the performance of your units such as washing machines and dishwashers.

Water ionizers are also susceptible to the effects of lime-scale build up so we suggest the use of the EOS II Eco Hard Water Conditioner if you live in an especially hard water area.

What is the EOS Mark II?

Developed in the early 1970's and used in a wide array of commercial and industrial applications, the EOS has now been reduced in size to provide scale protection for your water ionizer in a zero waste, environmentally friendly package.

How Does It Work?

The EOS Mark 11 uses a catalytic process to dramatically change the crystalline structure of calcium carbonate to a smooth soft spherical structure that does not create damaging scale build up in your ionizer. Essentially, the EOS Mark II, changes the calcium carbonate from a jagged-edged crystalline form which catches very easily on surfaces and thus stick, to a smooth-edged spherical form which cannot stick to anything. The EOS Mark II is not magnetic nor sacrificial (ie. it does not add anything to the water) - instead, the EOS Mark II dramatically reduces bothersome scale deposits from forming whilst also dissolving any existing calcium carbonate scale build-up present (de-scaling effect!).

And It Micro-Clusters!

As if the elimination of lime-scale was not good enough, the EOS Mark II has also been proven to micro-cluster water (reducing water molecule cluster sizes). Micro-clustered water has been shown to enhance cellular hydration and detoxification.
