Fresh Water Filtration System FW2000

Top of the range Fresh Water FW2000 - featuring twin stainless steel cartridge housings for customised performance, providing the ability to select cartridges to address specific water concerns, such as limescale reduction, fluoride or nitrates removal.

All the benefits of the Fresh Water FW1000 but with additional housing supplying an increase in flow rate and capacity and therefore with a longer Replacement Cartridge period.
Using a twin cartridge assembly means that the filter properties may be varied to suit individual needs and preferences, for example for additional hardness (inorganic calcium) removal. Alternative filter configurations for specialist medical or health requirements are always available.

The unit is just as easy and simple to fit and use as the Fresh Water 1000. On normal water pressure the average flow rate of the pure water supply can go up to around 3 litres per minute. For optimum chemical removal performance, the service valve can be adjusted to provide a flow rate of around 1.5 to 2 litres per minute.

Emerald High Capacity Filtration
The Emerald cartridge set uses microporous ceramic, carbon and Dealk resin to provide high capacity broad-spectrum water filtration performance against a wide range of potential rationwaterborne contaminants including harmful bacteria, parasites, cysts, unpleasant tastes and odours, chemicals and heavy metals including chlorine and lead. Healthy elements such as magnesium and calcium that give water its refreshing taste are retained.

Limescale Reduction
The limescale reduction filter set contains a 'Diamond' ceramic filter and a 'Crystal' limescale reduction filter. The 'Diamond' filter will filter pathogenic bacteria, cysts, parasites, sediment, heavy metals, hormones, chlorine, herbicides & pesticides as well as improving taste and odour. The Crystal filter contains polymer selective ion resin (Dealk) which removes temporary hardness.

Fluoride Filtration
The Fluoride reduction filter set contains a 'Diamond' ceramic filter and a 'Malachite' fluoride reduction filter. The 'Diamond' filter will filter pathogenic bacteria, cysts, parasites, sediment, heavy metals, hormones, chlorine, herbicides & pesticides as well as improving taste and odour. The Malachite filter contains the very latest granular activated alumina, specifically designed to remove the fluoride from the water as it passed through the filter.

Nitrate Filtration
The Nitrate reduction filter set contains a 'Diamond' ceramic filter and a 'Jasper' nitrate reduction filter. The 'Diamond' filter will filter pathogenic bacteria, cysts, parasites, sediment, heavy metals, hormones, chlorine, herbicides & pesticides as well as improving taste and odour. The Jasper filter contains a polymer selective ion resin which removes negatively charged nitrate, nitrate and sulphate ions as the water passes through the filter.

Q. How do I specify a different filter configuration in my FreshWater 2000?
A. Having decided which system is best suited to your needs, simply select the 2nd cartridge option for customised performance from the drop down options listed above

Q. How is the filter tap system installed?  Will I need a plumber?
A. Installing the FW2000 filter tap system is straightforward. There is no need to cut pipework and simple push-fit connections make the procedure quick and easy. However, if you are not competent at DIY we recommend that you appoint an approved installer to fit your system.

Q. How often will I need to replace the filter cartridge?
A. FreshWater recommend that you change the filter combination every 6 months. You can order your replacement water filter cartridge from us.

Q. How much filtered water will one cartridge give me?
A. This is variable depending on the quality of the water and the amount used. For example, if your water contains higher than average levels of sediment, the filter cartridge may clog and need replacing before the normal 6 month cycle. This will be obvious as the water flow from the tap visibly slows.

Q. How much space does the filter system's cartridge housing take up under the sink?
A. The FW2000 mini filter tap system is very compact - approximately 30cm high and 16cm across.  It fits neatly into a standard kitchen base unit and still leaves plenty of space!
